Vamos Traditional Village in Chania, West Crete

Between Chania and Rethymno, in the beautiful foothills of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) just 7 km from the Cretan sea, lies the traditional village of Vamos, with a rich cultural heritage.
The village is located at an altitude of approximately 300 m and situated in the greenest prefecture of Chania , Apokoronas . If you walk around the village, you can see many old majestic houses, more and more of which are restored and often used as guesthouse for tourists.
